History

Established in 1997, The Williamson Museum collects and exhibits the heritage of Williamson County from the historic 1910-1912 Farmers State Bank building at 716 S. Austin Avenue on the Georgetown square. Its galleries cover the county's founding, its artisans, and World War II, and it draws more than 15,000 visitors a year while serving thousands of county students. Admission is free.
