History
The L. T. Wright House at 342 Wilkins Avenue in San Antonio is a one-story stucco-over-tile residence built in 1917 in the Prairie style. Contractor L. T. Wright, who worked on many of the city's major buildings, hired architect George Willis, whose four years as a draftsman in Frank Lloyd Wright's studio shaped the home's Midwestern Prairie character with its low roof and wide eaves. Decorative painter Fred Donecker added interior stenciling and murals depicting local scenes. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 1, 1983.
