History
The Calcasieu Building at 202-214 Broadway is a six-story Chicago-style commercial block built in 1914 to the design of noted San Antonio architect Atlee B. Ayres. Its brick veneer facade features terra cotta ornament, a metal and neon sign, and classical detailing at the cornice, and the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
