History
The Pereida House is a one-story limestone dwelling that stood in the San Antonio district later cleared for the 1968 world's fair, HemisFair '68, where it was adapted for use as the Ireland House during the exposition. Documented by the Texas Historical Commission in the early 1970s, it survives as an example of the modest stone residences built by the city's 19th-century Tejano families.
