History

Beaird Cemetery is a small, largely abandoned pioneer burial ground on private land south of Brownwood, reached from FM 2525 near its junction with County Road 269. Only about five graves remain visible today, along with piles of stone that may once have formed an enclosure, across a tract of roughly two acres that has since been fenced off.
