History

West Shady Grove Cemetery is located on FM 747 in northwestern Cherokee County, about three miles west of the Pierce Chapel community and four miles east of Highway 84. Its burials date from the late 1800s into the 20th century. The cemetery was first catalogued in 1969 and updated in 2000.
