History

Brown Ranch Cemetery lies near the old Fisk community about twelve miles south-southwest of Coleman. The Moore family gave the land, and the first grave was that of Edward Roper, who died in April 1911. The site once sat at a crossroads with Methodist and Baptist churches and the Brown Ranch School nearby.
