History

Stewardson Cemetery, about ten miles south of Santa Anna in Coleman County, was platted by John Stewardson and W.B. Harper following the death of two-year-old Lilly Harper, Stewardson's granddaughter, in the late 1800s. The two-acre ground holds burials of the Stewardson, Milligan, West, Shelton, and Lewellen families spanning from the late 1800s into the 1980s.
