History

The Gough-Hughston House at 1206 West Louisiana Street was built in 1898 by James Rowland Gough and was sold to Wallace Hughston in 1918. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the Historic Resources of McKinney and is also designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.
