History
The Star is a 91-acre mixed-use development in Frisco that serves as the Dallas Cowboys' world corporate headquarters and practice facility, built through a partnership among the Cowboys, the City of Frisco, and Frisco ISD announced in 2013. The team broke ground in 2014, and the Ford Center at The Star — a 510,000-square-foot indoor athletic facility shared with the city and school district — celebrated its grand opening on August 21, 2016. Visitors can tour the headquarters and see the practice fields where the team trains.
