History

Albin Cemetery lies in central Comanche County between the small communities of Newburg and Pettit, along Farm to Market Road 1472. The rural graveyard holds more than 250 recorded burials and is cared for by the Albin Cemetery Association, organized to maintain the historic grounds. It remains a burial place for families of the surrounding farming country south of De Leon.
