History

The G&J Manufacturing Company building was one of the early-twentieth-century factories built in the industrial corridor between downtown Dallas and the State Fair grounds. Dallas had emerged as an important regional distribution and manufacturing center thanks to its major railroad connections, and buildings like this contributed to that growing industrial base. It is recognized among Dallas's historic industrial resources on the National Register.
