History

The building at 3525 Turtle Creek Boulevard is a 22-story Modernist high-rise built in 1957, designed by architect Howard R. Meyer and developed by Jerome Frank and Edward Dicker. Dallas's first luxury high-rise apartment building, it was heralded at opening as the tallest and most luxurious apartment building west of the Mississippi and is notable for its earth-toned brise-soleil sunscreen that shields residents from the Texas sun. One of the few Modernist high-rises on the National Register of Historic Places, it was listed in 2008.
