The Dal Paso Museum in Lamesa occupies a restored two-story brick hotel built in 1926, whose name reflected its reputation as the finest lodging between Dallas and El Paso. Operated in Dawson County, it displays home furnishings, pioneer tools, and ranch and farm equipment from the area's early settlement, along with work by local artists.
