History

West Park Cemetery, also known as the Hereford Cemetery, is the municipal burial ground of Hereford, the seat of Deaf Smith County, lying about a mile west of the U.S. 385 intersection. Originally called the IS Memorial Park Cemetery, it is operated by the city and holds roughly 7,000 interments.
