History
The Singer Sewing Company building is one of the downtown El Paso commercial structures associated with the firm of Trost & Trost, whose reinforced-concrete stores and office blocks defined the early-20th-century city center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 24, 1980 as part of the 'Commercial Structures of El Paso by Henry C. Trost' thematic nomination.
