History
The Judge M. B. Templeton House is a historic Waxahachie residence associated with Marion B. Templeton, an Ellis County judge and prominent local figure who also helped erect a Victorian commercial building downtown in 1890. The house stands in Waxahachie's historic west side and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 under the 'Historic Resources of Waxahachie' multiple property submission.
