History
The Old Masonic Building on the La Grange courthouse square was erected in 1860 for Lafayette Masonic Lodge No. 34, A.F. & A.M., a fraternity that had organized in the town in the 1840s. The building contributes to the Fayette County Courthouse Square Historic District.
