History
The Seagraves-Loop Museum and Art Center occupies the C. M. Armstrong building, one of the few structures to survive a 1928 fire that destroyed most of Seagraves' business district. Displays include western memorabilia, an extensive arrowhead collection, a general store, and early pioneer household goods, alongside a rotating art exhibit and an annual arts and crafts show. It documents the heritage of northern Gaines County, settled by ranching families such as the Sartins, who arrived in 1905.
