History

Holloway Cemetery stands on Old Luella Road about two miles north of Luella in southeastern Grayson County. Established in the nineteenth century, it holds more than 900 burials and includes many of the area's pioneer families, among them the Alexanders, Allens, Kinmans, and Lackeys. It remains one of the principal historic burial grounds serving the Luella community southeast of Sherman.
