History

Macomb Cemetery is the burial ground of the small Macomb community in southwestern Grayson County, a rural farming settlement that appears on U.S. Geological Survey maps of the Ethel and Whitesboro area. The cemetery holds several hundred recorded graves and preserves the memory of a community that never grew into a town but supported area farm families for generations.
