History

Hico Cemetery is the municipal burial ground of Hico, a Hamilton County town first settled in 1856 along nearby Honey Creek before the community relocated to the Waco-Hico rail line. Owned by the city, the cemetery sits roughly a half-mile southeast of town off State Highway 6 and holds graves reaching back into the 1800s.
