History
This small family cemetery in the Spring Branch area was established in 1854 by Heinrich Hillendahl, a German immigrant from Hanover who bought 80 acres of prairie there and helped found St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The surrounding community was originally called Hillendahl before it became Spring Branch. Now occupying a corner of a commercial parking lot, the roughly 1,375-square-foot plot holds about 19 graves and a Texas historical marker.
