History

Bethany Cemetery is a garden-style burial ground of about six acres in the Deer Park area of southeastern Harris County, next to Grand View Memorial Park on Spencer Highway. Its history reaches back to 1879, and members of the Bethany Cemetery Association took over its care in 1976 and restored the site. The Texas Historical Commission placed a marker at the cemetery in 1997.
