History

Deeded in 1907, Old Hebbronville Cemetery lies on the east side of Hebbronville across from the Jim Hogg County sheriff's office and has served the community for over a century. It became known as the Old cemetery after the newer Our Lady of Guadalupe cemetery opened, and its Catholic iconography and Spanish-language markers reflect the town's Mexican American heritage. It holds the Historic Texas Cemetery designation.
