History
The Randado Catholic Church served the ranching community that grew up around Randado Ranch, established on land granted by the Mexican government in 1836 to Hipolito Garcia. By the late 1870s the settlement had grown to roughly 300 residents, and the small chapel became the center of community religious life in this remote part of what is now Jim Hogg County. The church stands south of Hebbronville and carries a Texas historical marker.
