History
The A. J. Wright Building in Cleburne is an unusual two-story mixed-use commercial block whose full-depth lot gives it finished facades on both S. Main and S. Caddo streets along E. James Street, each parapet stepping up over a stone tablet inscribed 'Wright.' Part of the ground floor served as the waiting room of the Fort Worth Traction Company, which ran an interurban railroad between Cleburne and Fort Worth from 1912 until 1931. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
