History

Red Creek Cemetery lies south of the community of London in Kimble County on land that Frank Latta donated for general burial use on May 23, 1896. The oldest marked grave is that of T. Roy Black in 1897, and Latta himself was buried here in 1902. Among its early settlers are at least eleven Civil War veterans, one Union and ten Confederate, along with soldiers from both world wars.
