History

Meadowbrook Memorial Park, also called Meadowbrook Gardens, is a twentieth-century perpetual-care cemetery on U.S. Highway 271 just south of Paris in Lamar County. Unlike the county's older rural graveyards, it is a modern memorial-park cemetery. A 1996 report in The Paris News noted maintenance and management difficulties at the site during that period.
