History

Littlefield Cemetery is the principal burial ground for Littlefield, the Lamb County seat that cattleman George W. Littlefield laid out along the Santa Fe line through his Littlefield Lands Company. Located at 1700 West Delano Avenue, the cemetery has grown into one of the largest in the county, with roughly 3,800 recorded interments. It is distinguished from the adjacent Littlefield Memorial Park by its upright, raised grave markers.
