History
This marker honors Joseph Kent, a veteran of the Battle of San Jacinto listed among Lavaca County's heroes of the Texas Revolution. A Recorded Texas Historic Landmark grave marker for him was placed in 1963 in Memorial Park Cemetery at Hallettsville.
