History
The Red Men Museum and Library in Waco is the national museum of the Improved Order of Red Men, a fraternal organization, maintained by the Texas Redmen Foundation. Founded in 1991 from the collection of former national secretary Robert E. Davis, its free exhibits include unusual artifacts such as a writing desk owned by Aaron Burr, a bugle recovered from the Gettysburg battlefield, and a ring belonging to silent-film star Rudolph Valentino, plus a 4,500-volume research library.
