History
The Selena Museum in Corpus Christi is housed within the Q-Productions recording studio complex at 5410 Leopard Street, founded by the family of Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla. Opened in 1998, three years after Selena's 1995 death, the museum was created by her father Abraham Quintanilla Jr. and sister Suzette Quintanilla as a place for fans to remember and celebrate her life. Its displays include Selena's stage costumes, awards including her Grammy, her red Porsche, and the studio room where she recorded 'Dreaming of You' shortly before her death.
