History

Floyd Cemetery is an early Orange County burial ground reached from Mansfield Ferry Road. Records indicate about 30 graves, including those of enslaved people, though only a couple of headstones survive today; the cemetery was catalogued in 1973. Among the recorded burials is W. G. Anderson, born near Princeton, Kentucky in 1812 and buried here in 1865.
