History

Conner Cemetery occupies a high, pine-covered hill off State Highway 149 about three miles from Beckville toward Tatum in Panola County. It is an old burial ground, its earliest recorded death that of Orie E. Biggs in January 1870, though many of its oldest markers have been lost or broken over time. First transcribed in 1970, the cemetery remains in use and is enclosed by an iron fence.
