History
The Edwin and Hattie Day House is a two-story Victorian-era residence in Ballinger, one of many buildings that grew up during the town's railroad boom of the 1880s and 1890s. Like the nearby Van Pelt House, it reflects the Victorian character of Ballinger's historic core and has been preserved through local revitalization efforts. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
