History
The Electric Building at 410 W. Seventh Street in Fort Worth was designed by Wyatt C. Hedrick for the Fort Worth Power & Light Company and opened in June 1929, rising 18 stories in an Art Deco style. An adjoining annex housed the 1,250-seat Hollywood Theatre, which opened in 1930 and closed in 1976. The building was converted to apartments in 1994 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
