History
The Petroleum Building in downtown Fort Worth is a fourteen-story tower designed by architect Wyatt C. Hedrick with Art Deco detailing. Over the years it carried many names, including the Rattikin Title, Schick, and Life of America buildings, before XTO Energy purchased it in 2004, restored its base, and returned it to the Petroleum Building name. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (2009).
