History
The Cattle Raisers Museum traces the history and science of the Texas cattle industry, from early Spanish settlers and vaqueros through the great trail drives to modern range technology. It opened in 1981 in the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association building, created by the association's foundation to educate the public about ranching heritage, and in 2009 it relocated into the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. The museum occupies about 10,000 square feet of film, photos, and interactive exhibits in the city's Cultural District.
