History

Mitchell Cemetery, located southwest of the intersection of 28th Street and Decatur Avenue in Fort Worth, is regarded as the second-oldest cemetery in Tarrant County and reflects the area's early settlement. A Texas historical marker was erected there in 1984, though the marker is now missing.
