History
Caldwell Hall stands on the campus of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene and dates from the 1920s, a period of rapid growth for both the school and the city. It is regarded as the least-altered and best-preserved historic building on the HSU campus. The hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 23, 1992.
