Cat Spring Lutheran Cemetery is owned by St. John's Lutheran Church of Cat Spring, an Austin County community founded in 1832 by German pioneers of the Amsler, Kleberg, and von Roeder families. The cemetery holds roughly 400 burials, with the earliest graves dating to about the 1880s.
