History
The J. V. Vandenberge House at 301 N. Vine Street in Victoria was built in 1908 as one of architect Jules Leffland's grandest and most refined Colonial Revival designs. Built for lawyer and banker J. V. Vandenberge, the double-fronted house features a colossal Ionic portico on N. Vine Street and a bow-fronted Ionic portico with a wide balcony facing W. Goodwin Avenue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
