History
The Barden-O'Connor House at 305 N. Moody Street in Victoria was built around 1870 and is a two-and-a-half-story Georgian/Classical Revival home distinguished by a five-bay, two-story porch with Doric columns. An early owner was bank teller E. B. Barden, and it later passed to the O'Connor family, one of the largest ranching operations in South Texas, including Thomas M. O'Connor and his son Dennis. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 9, 1986.
