History
The Proctor-Vandenberge House at 604 N. Craig in Victoria was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 9, 1986. The site carries an early frontier association: Hamilton Ledbetter, who built the first part of the house, is said to have fought Comanches there during an 1840 raid.
