About this tour
Every small town has a strange side, and Comfort's is a good one: a commercial armadillo-shell basket factory that shipped worldwide, a wooden tower built to solve a mosquito problem with bats instead of chemicals, and a spa-turned-summer-camp that changed names almost as often as it changed owners. None of it fits the tidy German-limestone-Main-Street story — which is exactly why it's worth the drive.
