History

The Muleshoe Heritage Center is a complex of six restored West Texas buildings that commemorate the region's ranching heritage. It includes the Janes Ranch House, a 1915 Aladdin mail-order home; the Muleshoe Ranch cookhouse and bunkhouse, tied to the Warren family's early-1900s Muleshoe Ranch; and the original Pecos and Northern Texas Railway depot, moved to the site in 1985 and dedicated in 1987. Out front stands the 22-foot "World's Largest Muleshoe."
