History
This faux bois fountain was created by sculptor Dionicio Rodriguez at the Alamo Cement Company office complex in Alamo Heights, a concrete fish pond about eighteen feet across sheltered by a concrete roof shaped to resemble a thatched palapa and ringed by an arcaded walk. It survives alongside a companion Rodriguez fence and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 9, 2005.
