History
This 24-story Alamo National Bank skyscraper was completed in 1929 to the design of the Chicago firm Graham, Anderson, Probst and White, successors to D. H. Burnham, and it was one of only two Texas works by that firm. Rising with continuous vertical pilasters between the window bays, it long ranked among San Antonio's tallest office towers and was adapted into the Drury Plaza Hotel in 2005.
