History
Constructed by the City of San Antonio in 1875, this building housed the Fourth Ward School on its second floor while the first floor served as a fire station, and it is the oldest surviving school building in the city and the only one left of San Antonio's original five schools. Later used as the Page School Annex and converted to offices, it now houses the San Antonio ISD administration and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
